

Tents Available. Tents will be made available to teams or individuals upon request. We will set up and break down our tents. An added charge of $100 per person applies. 3 people will be assigned to six-person tent. Teams will be kept together. Couples will also be kept together as much as possible. If you prefer to camp alone or as a couple you may bring your tent and set it up/break it down each day and we will transport it with your actions packer/gear. Tents do not need to fit in Action Packers.
Adventure Run Distance: The adventure run category is approximately 1/2 of the full expedition length. Those selecting the Adventure Run will be covering approximately 125 kilometers of the entire route.

“Race with Purpose” program: We are very excited to launch our new program “Race with Purpose”! TCC will be selecting 2 teams to sponsor this year. One team will be selected by random drawing as part of a facebook contest and will receive a free race entry for one of its members. The other team will be selected on the merits of its mission by a panel of our race staff and alumni. We will select one cause this year (non-profit foundation or charity) and we will match $2 for every kilometer accomplished at The Coastal Challenge by each member of that team for their charity.
In addition we will issue a $500 credit to use or pay forward as a gift for the following year's race if the entire team finishes the race. For more details or to request application please email registration@thecoastalchallenge.com

Relay option: (For teams of two)
Your teammate will do 3 stages and you will do 3 stages. You determine the best way to divide them as part of your race strategy.
